Saba & Alysi, The Skin I Live In
Alysi and Saba put forces together during MDW 25, coordinated by Studiopepe’s creative vision, to tell a subtle story about cross cultural creativity in the airy spaces of Alysi garden house, with a set up characterized by impressive hand stitched fabric panels that create the perfect background to present Simposio sofa in conversation with the new Philia coffee tables both by Studiopepe.

The skin that envelops us is matter, memory, gesture. It is a boundary and a refuge, surface and substance. The Skin I Live In explores the dialogue between body and space, between fabric and form, between clothing and furnishings.
The Simposio sofa becomes the meeting point of this sensory narrative. A modular seating piece that is not just an object, but an experience: it embraces, envelops, and invites conversation. Its sinuous and timeless lines evoke the flow of beauty, while the upholstery – free from excess, marked only by a simple fold – recalls the softness of a Greek peplum.

“The Skin I Live In” is an invitation to explore the dialogue between fabric and form, clothing and design, matter and emotion.
