This townhouse exemplifies the Studio’s dedication to detail, including the most unexpected, from the grand made-to-order marble fireplace to the family picture collection on display on the staircase, to the ceiling of the son’s room, a tribute to Giò Ponti.
We intervened on a completely gutted structure. We began with the altered layout of the structural framework, the result of a previous spatial reorganization. Is a smooth and continuous storyline, devoid of contrasts between the past and the present, in which styles and atmospheres are stratified and coexist. The focal point of the project revolves around a magnificent hallway featuring customized marble flooring and walls that cleverly conceal extensive storage cabinets. These walls are adorned across their surface with frescoes that reinterpret family motifs, in keeping with the tradition of Lombard villas.
Monochromatic elegance, a vintage touch, and bespoke furniture make this apartment the perfect embodiment of the New Italian Style – a blend of nostalgia and sophistication.
A contemporary design approach capable of accommodating family heirlooms, ranging from the prestigious picture collection to the most personal memories.
