Atipico, Kora

Kora is a collection of vases made of matte ceramic, a modern reinterpretation of the classic amphora: the curves are transformed into edges while the handles assume a broken line and a lopsided position.
 Inspired by the Greek Korae — the female statues that support the tympanum of the Erechtheion in Athens — the Kora vase has asymmetrical handles with a symbolic slant that echoes the harmonious posture of the Hellenic sculptures.
